Carpet Python

The carpet python is a really cool snake. It is sort of like the ball python. They don't get too big and they come in many morphs. The carpet python will only need about a 20 gallon tank, a heating pad and some substrate that is moist. Below are some pictures of carpet pythons and some morphs.

Ratsnake

A ratsnake is a good snake for a pet. They can be very tame and they don't require much but about a 40 gallon tank a and newspaper. the news paper is for you to tape to the bottom of the tank. They eat rats and drink water obviously. They can get up to about 6 feet but don't let that scare you. Below are some pictures of ratsnakes.

Chameleon

Chameleon's are really cool and strange animals. They will need a custom cage with wiring and a specific habitat setup so they will be expensive. They eat fruit flies and there are many different types of chameleons. They will need heat bulbs and ultra violet bulbs. Below are some pictures of chameleons.

Sand Boa

The sand boa is just like the rosy boa, except it is smaller. The sand boa comes in many different morphs that look really cool. They will only need about a 15 gallon tank sand and a heating pad, these as well as rosy boas eat pinky's. They are really easy to care for and are very tame. Below are some pictures of sand boas and some different morphs of sand boas.

The rosy boa is a great snake for beginners and personally one of my favorites. When you hear boa you probably think of a big snake well no, the rosy boa is a boa that stays small and is very tame. The rosy boa will only need about a 20 gallon tank and sand with a heating pad. The rosy boa eats pinky's. Below are pictures of rosy boas.

Uromastyx

The uromastyx is a desert lizard that can live up to about 30 years. They require about a 50 gallon tank. They eat greens like mustard greens collard greens and kale, they can also eat dandelions as well as bird seeds. They will need a desert habitat but don't put any fake plants because the lizard will try to eat it. You will need to put calcium dust on the greens about once a week not alot just lightly put it on the greens, this keeps from the lizards bones from deforming. You will need to get sand for the 50 gallon tank a hide and a basking rock, they will need a UVB bulb and a heating bulb. Below are some pictures.

Savanna Monitor

A savanna monitor is a hard lizard to take care of. They require a heat bulb and a UVB (ultra violet bulb). These lizards will eat just about anything you throw at them, they eat crickets eggs meat a wide range of things. They can be mean so be precocious when you try to handle them, the best way is to put your hand in a fist and set it in there for about a minute or two until they now that its not food.  They get very big so you will need about a 50 gallon tank with desert sand, a hide and a basking spot. Below are some pictures of savanna Monitors.
