The uromastyx is a desert lizard that can live up to about 30 years. They require about a 50 gallon tank. They eat greens like mustard greens collard greens and kale, they can also eat dandelions as well as bird seeds. They will need a desert habitat but don't put any fake plants because the lizard will try to eat it. You will need to put calcium dust on the greens about once a week not alot just lightly put it on the greens, this keeps from the lizards bones from deforming. You will need to get sand for the 50 gallon tank a hide and a basking rock, they will need a UVB bulb and a heating bulb. Below are some pictures.

Savanna Monitor

A savanna monitor is a hard lizard to take care of. They require a heat bulb and a UVB (ultra violet bulb). These lizards will eat just about anything you throw at them, they eat crickets eggs meat a wide range of things. They can be mean so be precocious when you try to handle them, the best way is to put your hand in a fist and set it in there for about a minute or two until they now that its not food.  They get very big so you will need about a 50 gallon tank with desert sand, a hide and a basking spot. Below are some pictures of savanna Monitors.

The hognose is a very good snake to own or buy. A hognose doesn't need much but a basic setup, a 20 gallon tank for when they get big and some decor. But the only disadvantage is you have to feed them toads which is hard to come by. When i had a hognose i went out and caught mine, you might be able to buy them at www.kingsnake.com.

Leopard Gecko

Leopard Geckos make great pets they are good for beginners. They don't need much. They are tame,  you feed them mill worms which isn't very expensive, also the have a very basic setup. All they need is the following items. Ten Gallon tank, heating pad, sand, and a little decor such as a rock hide. With all of the following items you will be good to go...BUT! Leopard Gecko's aren't just your average lizard. Their tails are special so if you were to tug or pull on their tail then it would fall off. This is because if something in the wild is chasing them and it grabs on to their tail, the geckos will drop their tail so the thing chasing them will get their tail and the leopard gecko will get away. They can regrow their tails but the grow into a nub.
